Summit Community Bank provides our customers with a safe and secure method of accessing his or her accounts via the internet.  Our online banking program is available when it is convenient for the customer.  Summit strives to make our internet banking easy to use while protecting our customers using a multifactor authentications system, which is one of the most state of the art security programs available.  The best feature of all is its FREE! ONLINE BILL PAY
Bill Pay is an optional FREE service that Summit provides to our online banking customers that gives them a fast, easy, efficient way to pay bills, stay organized, eliminate postage, and avoid service fees for phone payments.  Customers can use the bill pay system to pay anyone from the kid next door who mows their lawn to that major utility company.  Some highlights of the bill pay system are:

  • Track your payment history
  • Ability to set up reminder
  • Ability to make one time payments or to set up recurring payments

TELEPHONE BANKING (DANI)
Summit Community Bank customers can use their phone to call our FREE Day and Night Information system (DANI for short) at 1-800-648-2265 or 1-800-648-BANK.  Our automated telephone banking system with touch tone prompts is available to our customers 24 hours a day 7 days a week and allows our customers to use his or her primary account number along with a four digit pin to access all of the accounts they own at Summit.   Some of the features of the DANI system are:

  • Available in English or Spanish
  • Balance inquiries
  • Make transfers
  • Search transactions
  • Get a list of memo posted transactions
  • Logins available for secondary account owners
  • Self enrollment
  • Merchant verification

It seems that everyone today is on the move, so it is equally important to be able to do your banking on the move as well.  This is the reason that Summit has FREE mobile banking.  Our mobile banking is a streamlined version of online banking program.  It contains the most commonly used features of our on-line banking and is available anywhere they have cell phone access.  And unlike most community banks —we even have a FREE I Phone app!!!!  Some of the features available on mobile banking include:

DEBIT CARD MONITORING
Debit Card Alerts are a FREE service provided by Summit Community Bank.  In this era of hurry, hurry, hurry it is extremely easy to forget to write down that Sweet Tea purchase at McDonalds, but not to worry, we can text you!  How much was that Wal-Mart purchase?  Check your messages.  We can immediately alert you each time a purchase is made or only those purchases over a certain amount.  We can alert you if that return has been posted to your card.  Debit card alerts are customized to the information that our customers need or want to see.  You can even text “bal” to 58084 to receive your updated account balance.  Types of alerts available include

  • Funds added
  • Funds removed
  • Signature transactions
  • Card status change
  • Suspected fraud
  • Declined transaction
  • High risk transactions

Alerts
Sign up for a FREE way to keep up to date with your account through our Online Banking Alerts. Have a free text message or email sent directly to you when funds fall below a certain threshold or to keep track of important dates through this free service offered through online banking.

E-Statements
E-Statements are electronic copies of your account statements that you can view within Online Banking or Cash Management. You have the ability to view, print, or save and store your E-Statements on your personal computer. E-Statements are made available to you online instantly when the statement becomes available, which saves the added time associated with normal postal mail delivery. Summit Community Bank stores your last 7 years of statements in Online Banking. E-Statements are only accessible to you via a secure login to Summit Community Bank’s Online Banking or Cash Management. It eliminates the risk of having sensitive financial information delivered to unsecured postal mailboxes. E-Statements reduce paper use and save natural resources. Overdraft Protection - "Opt In"
There have been recent regulation changes which require Summit Community Bank to discontinue our overdraft protection at these convenient points-of-service. In order to continue usage of the overdraft program at an ATM, or with a debit card, our accountholders are required to 'opt-in' for that benefit.
